Welcome to 2011
Friday, 31st December 2010
Looking back on 2010, we have mixed feelings here at Blue earth. Whilst the start of the year was a difficult time for most of the UK being in the grip of the recession, many of our projects early on were emerging startups determined to capitalise on an ever growing marketplace.
These companies really opened our eyes on how to cope with a recession by maintaining a positive viewpoint when many of their competitors were seeing it as the end.
Later on in the year the floodgates opened and some of the bigger projects began with the likes of established companies such as the Hop Shop in Shoreham, Kent and Hammond and Harper of London.
While working on these projects we have been keeping an eye on emerging technologies such as the iPhone and iPad and how these can be utilised in an ecommerce business.
We pride ourselves on staying at the forefront of web development and have begun developing on these exciting new platforms with our first apps due to go live sometime in Q2 of 2011.
I am pleased that we remain on top of our game and must thank all of the team for continuing to push the envelope by constantly refining our development process.
We look forward to working with you in 2011.
